V1 - I just bumped into you in your running shoes, now don't go too far in front of me, I got a secret I wanna whisper to you, it was dark in here 'til you brightened up the room. V2 - We'll go just as fast as we can, go grab your kite baby and take my hand, Those city lights will trace as we leave them behind, neon will flicker as it waves us goodbye Ch - There ain't no bar we can't close down, oh put your lips up next to mine. We'll take that road and we’ll go stopping time, girl we'll leave a trail blazing for them ol' weary kind V3 - You said you liked them roughed 'round the edged types, I've seen myself a ruckus or 2, I’ve broken bones & snapped my nose in 5, tilt your head when you look at me & you won't pay it any mind V4 - You pinched my arm and told me you were shy, I couldn't help but laugh and say, “but why oh, oh why”.... It's gonna kill you anyhow, so why keep those wings closed when you could just jump off and fly Ch - There ain't no bar we can't close down, oh put your lips up next to mine. We'll take that road and we’ll go stopping time, girl we'll leave a trail blazing for them ol' weary kind M8 - With the wind in our sails, buckets of time, raising up hell never waiting in line to jump on & off that merry-go round, losing our minds to this crazy ol' stoppin’ time. Ch - There ain't no bar we can't close down, oh put your soft lips up next to mine. We'll take that road and we’ll go stopping time, girl we'll leave a trail blazing for them ol' weary kind.

You never know what to expect when you roll outta bed, have your morning smoke and your sweet black coffee. Not much in your pockets but last night’s change, running low on old amber leaf and stubborn belief not much can break down your fence. You jump on the number 9 it's always the same, screaming weans and lovers at the back not giving two fucks what anybody says. The lights were American, bloody Mary was thin and when you walked in that dive joint, I knew I had to get your name somehow. A simple handshake eased my usual nerves but rattle my cage, I never thought I'm meet a firecracker when I started out that day. On a chance me of sorts, I admit it struck a chord and left melodies swirling, well that kinda shit works for a boy like me. I was hustled to the fall, wrangled to the ground and all I could hear was a happy trumpet sound that went, 'bum, bum, bum bum ba, bum' No, it didn't have the perfect end but bit it had that Je Ne Sais Quoi. Je voulais te dire que tu as ce Je Ne Sais Quoi. Tomber Sur, PRW. The winter was rolling in, we'd done enough walking so we jumped in a taxi and headed for my penthouse on PRW. I played my favourite Tom songs and danced really, I tried to redeem myself with the best joke I had oh it just fell flat. The light of the moon shone soft on your face, you sparked another cigarette and said, "gies a wee top up there, Ace!" The Wine gave us pirate smiles, swapped tales of where we've been, there's a sparkle in your eyes but I knew the short lived buzz was coming to an end. I was hustled to the fall, wrangled to the ground and all I could hear was a happy trumpet sound that went, 'bum, bum, bum bum ba, bum' No it didn't have the perfect end but bit it had that Je Ne Sais Quoi. Je voulais te dire que tu as ce Je Ne Sais Quoi. Tomber Sur, PRW, Tomber Sur, PRW, Tomber Sur, PRW I was hustled to the fall, wrangled to the ground and all I could hear was a happy trumpet sound that went, 'bum, bum, bum bum ba, bum' No, it didn't have the perfect end but bit it had that Je Ne Sais Quoi. Je voulais te dire que tu as ce Je Ne Sais Quoi. Tomber Sur, PRW.... to infinity and beyond...

V1 - I curse you under my breath but lord knows I don’t mean it. I’m running for the next train, I’m never leaving you again. Well I’ve been known to travel, I’ve been known to stumble around Ch- I got you in my suitcase never far from my mind, you're burning holes in my pockets, you keep me up all night, yeah you do me right V2 - There’s paper scattered on my floor, a pen's bleeding on my table. a sonnet and a sermon I don’t know what they mean, yeah I’ve been known to scribble, I’ve been known to ramble these parts Ch - But I got you in my suitcase never far from my mind, you're burning holes in my pockets, you keep me up all night, yeah you do me right V3 - I dance around these lines by cheap candle light, a picking and a swaying 'til I get it just right. I've been wander, I've been known to drift outta key. Ch - But I got you in my suitcase never far from my, you're burning hole in my pockets, you keep me up all night, yeah you do me right.

V1 - I’m hard on the case, making out like Nick Belane picking up your scent on this paper trail down dead-end streets at my own expense V2 - Everywhere I look, every stone I turn I find another crumb with your name upon, another clue that gets me closer to you Ch - Where at thou, April? I’ve been once around the sun, to the moon & back, and the constellations between, the distance don’t mean nothing, I’ll just bend space and time ‘til you’re mine, I got nothing better to do, Where art thou, April? I’ll catch you on the wind one of these days & I'll sell you in bottles V3 - Sat at my command centre, soaked to the bone, there’s a red sparrow sat on my window sill, that's been twice this week, what does it mean? V4 - The greatest dick in all of LA couldn’t help, well who needs him, he’s just a cheap ol’ drunk, well there must be a sign that gets me closer to you Ch - Where art thou, April? I’ve been once around the sun, to the moon & back, and the constellations between, the distance don’t mean nothing, I’ll just bend space and time ‘til you’re mine, I got nothing better to do, Where art thou, April? I’ll catch you on the wind one of these days & I'll sell you in bottles
