An old friend of mine passed away unexpectedly few years back, a bit of a shock to us all. But he was one of those larger-than-life characters who was very supportive me, and my music. He was always saying, ‘Just go for it kid, yer a long time time deid’. He was bang on the money with that comment. This song’s a wee nod to him, and a reminder that nothing lasts forever… the good times, or the bad.”
